JD: Thanks for taking the time to send the parts list. Will give Yaesu a call tomorrow. It looks like these are not manufactured by TOKO so they shouldn't have the same issues. Tony

Re: Replacing TOKO Ceramic IF Filters
Relatively easy to replace. You need enough heat to heat the ground plane enough to desolder. Be careful not to knock off the nearby parts. The board will have to be removed, but it is not a difficult

It is a shame it cannot use QT5 to be compatible with Debian 11 even, and slighter older and other linux distros. Is the source code available to compile, rather than binaries ? vk4tux

Re: Low voltage output.
Hi Bruce. When you say you measured the voltage at the connector, can you clarify which connector? I also assume the radio is working perfectly otherwise and when you select TUNE on the menu the

Re: Low voltage output.
Robert, I have used the radio with two of the ATAS antennas in the past. This started about a year ago. I measured the voltage at the connector on the radio. I have tried the antennas with a power

Be aware that likely the cinese cheap tcxo unita? are NOT crystals but they have a PLL inside. They should be charachterised for spurii and phase noise, this should have a consequence at least

Re: Low voltage output.
Where are you measuring this voltage? Depends which way you are driving the antenna, Voltages the radio applies to the ATAS antenna are 8.36 volts to move down, and 9.76 volts to move up. There is an

Low voltage output.
Yes, I said low voltage. In order to use the ATAS antenna the rig should put out 8 volts. Mine only puts out 4 volts. Any ideas? wd9ghk

Re: Yaesu TCXO-9 High Stability Crystal
Steve A typical Chinese TCXO must be removed from radio to access adjustment tap - a really useful feature (NOT), while the real McCoy can be adjusted in place.? Regards, Phil / K4PO
