I have mine hooked up that way now.? I have it setup for 4800 baud and t work just fine.? I would recommend not using the 38400 option as the USB converter does not handle it very well without handshaking.

I purchased three of these

about 18 months ago and all three work flawlessly on Windows 10.? No driver to install, no setup.? Just plug it in and it works.

Re: Has anyone been able to successfully send CW using cat control and a Digirig?

So I was able to send using the RTS line when connected through my PC using hamlib and N1MM however I can't get hamlib to work on my Raspberry Pi with?fldigi to key the same line.I'm able to directly key through the cat interface without using anything other than the digirig?but can't do it through FLDigi just N1MM it doesn't make sense.?

You will have to build yourself an isolation interface to convert the RS-232 levels to the radio CW keying jack.? Diagrams are all over the Internet.? Normally an Opto-Isolator and/or a couple of small transistors.

Subject [FT-857] Has anyone been able to successfully send CW using cat control and a Digirig?

Good afternoon, I have a 857 that I have connected to a Digirig. I would like to send CW using FlDigi. So far I have tried to send it with the radio using sideband and I'm seeing no output power which I think might be in audio setting? I had read that you can send CW using cat control. That would be the ideal configuration for me. I am able to connect to the radio with fl rig ig but have not had much success with hamlib or rigctl.

Has anyone done this before? Can anyone offer any advice
