I read somewhere in this group about OEM head units available from HRO ... I ordered one from Portland Ham Radio Outlet and yesterday I got a email from that store manager that they have obtained one for me and have sent it out.?? It claims to be the entire snap on faceplate unit that I don't need right now but I love my 857D and getting these things might be difficult in the future (New and OEM) ..
I still see them on the HRO websites but of course on backorder but should be available.
