I??saw that also. Luckily, I was able to pickup one of the last FT-857D radios at HRO this past month. Enjoying it.? Really like this radio. Wish they would come out with a similarly compact unit to replace it. Something along the lines of the upcoming ICOM 705, but with Yaesu ruggedness. 73
