If you are using the MH-59 Mic just press the Orange button 1
time that will take you out of fast mode on tuning. Make sure your
setting for the Mic SEL # 59 is set to RMT when using the MH-59.
save your memory from the radio before you attempt a reset and
just try the soft reset before you try the hard one

Good day.
My FT-857 seems to have become stuck in the fast tuning
mode for a few
weeks now. Pressing the Power or Fst mic button does not
return the radio
to normal tuning speed.
I don't really want to do a reset if possible.
Anyone else ever experienced this behaviour and have a
solution?
