Re: Adding an AT-140 Antenna System to a 2018 Honda CR-V

I added a trailer hitch to my Subaru Outback with a removable extension so it will clear the hatch & mounted a motorized antenna to it. Works quite well. Only have to watch out when backing up! If you are willing to spend some money I have seen a welded mount from the frame on the left rear that clears the hatch & doesn¡¯t stick out.?

3 possible options;? 1) MFJ widow mount for rubber ducky or small whip,
2) I have used a lip mount that catches the very top edge of the rear hatch, and
3) I have added a light duty hitch and mounted a hamstik on that,

Not sure where I could mount this antenna.? None of the antennas I currently have will work with this vehicle.? I don't want to use a mag-mount antenna.? Through the glass antennas on the side windows of the cargo area are also out, due to the metallic nature of the factory window tint, and the rear window has both the defogger and the AM/FM antenna embedded in the glass.

Thanks,
