Afternoon all on this wet and windy day here .
Right my FT857D is being a bit of a pain right now .
I can power it up no problem at all but that is the ONLY button that
works for at least 10 minutes but all rotary controls work perfectly it
will Tx/Rx no problem i can change frequency but not band then it
will suddenly start working correctly .
If i then turn it off providing i turn it back on within a few
seconds it is fine but leave it 30 seconds and it has to go thru the
no buttons thing again ..
Anyone got any ideas i am in the UK so the talk to the tech
department bit is not viable .
