That¡¯s the thing about these scammers, they advertise by posting to various mailing lists. They don¡¯t use one of the classified listings like where there is a history and buyer/seller feedback. Not that there aren¡¯t scams on , but when you see an ad posted to several mailing lists but not the classifieds sites, it¡¯s almost certainly a scam.?
Just to be sure I'm clear, I meant to physically visit the location of the seller and see the equipment in operations.
Also, paypal is my friend. LOL? One other thing to check is the seller's feedback. If they have very few or a lot of negatives I would steer clear. If they have a lot of feedback and all or only 1 out of hundreds that are negative I would probably chance it. People do quit hobbies from time to time.
LOL I'm going to put my model airplanes up for sale as a "lot" soon, I'm not able to fly them any longer due to a neck injury. It is what it is and I have a LOT of stuff.
