Sounds like your finals shorted out.? You will need to either
open it up and find the short or send it in for repair.? You
should contact Yaesu tech support next.

I have a strange issue with my 857, it stopped
transmitting on 30 meters yesterday, now it will not
power on, and just clicks like the relays are stuck
doing something.
Does this on both power supply and a 12 v car
battery.? and the voltage drops on both like its
shorted or something.
any suggestions??
