The better tuner in your case would be the SGC series couplers or LDG also produces similar products in the remote tuner line, as does MFJ, and others.? Of course the easiest to interface with Yaesu radios is the Yaesu FC-40.? These type antenna tuner are better known as "coupler" as they are connected directly to the antenna element as opposed to coax connection between the tuner and antenna.? These devices will tune a "CB" whip for 40 through 10 meters with virtually no reflective power loss.?
