Gary Kimmel collection update
Hello, I’ve added a file to my blog page with a list of my father’s train books. The first 9 on the list are ACW related train books while the rest are more general train books. I’ve also been adding items to the rolling stock lists (many Roundhouse passenger and freight cars, IHC freight cars, and a large box of Gorre & Daphetid cars) and the engine list (mainly a box of non-running Aristocraft engines). I’ve been selling a lot of the collection on Ebay, my username is jtkimmel if anyone wants to see what I have up currently. As always, if anyone would like to see photos of any items, please let me know. https://jtkimmel15.wixsite.com/portfolio/post/garykimmelcollection Thank you, Jeff Kimmel jtkimmel@...

Gary Kimmel collection pt 2
2
I wanted to follow up on my previous email about my father’s HO train collection, first to say thank you to those individuals who have purchased or are in the process of purchasing engines and cars. The lists on my blog page have been updated and also added to as we keep finding more things. There are two additional lists, buildings (built and unbuilt, painted and unpainted) and figures (painted and unpainted). All are HO scale. https://jtkimmel15.wixsite.com/portfolio/post/garykimmelcollection Again, if anyone would like photos of specific items, please let me know. I have started listing items on Ebay (account name jtkimmel), any items put up there will be removed from my blog lists. In talking with one member here I mentioned my father had customized a few USMRR Generals and he encouraged me to share photos of them here. They are items #163 “Scout, “ #166 General “134,” and #169 “Grapeshot.” I also came across two small boxes of wagons, they are a mix of metal and plastic, at least one is a Jordan Highway Miniatures kit. I saw some emails a little while back about wagons so I thought I would post these here first. Thank you, Jeff K.

interest in non-runners?
7
Hello, I got a question about non-runners in my father’s collection. Is there a large interest for them? There’s around 20, about half are 4-4-0’s but a variety of others as well, that I can add to the engine list. Jeff K.

Gary Kimmel collection
7
Hello, my name is Jeff Kimmel, my father Gary passed away a couple years ago and left a large collection of HO gauge trains and rolling stock (about 200 engines, 500+ cars) which some friends who know about HO trains have been working on cataloging. My father was very interested in the Civil War period and much of the collection is from the mid and late 1800’s, he was a member of the Civil War Railroad Group so I contacted DC Cebula about the possibility of trying to sell the collection. I have posted two Excel Spreadsheets on my blog page, one for the engines and one for the rolling stock. The spreadsheets list the item by locomotive or car type, manufacturer, road name, built or unbuilt kit, coupler type, color and the asking price. Shipping is additional. Payment by Paypal is preferred. I can email the files to anyone if they have problems downloading them. https://jtkimmel15.wixsite.com/portfolio/post/garykimmelcollection If you are interested in anything please email me at jtkimmel@..., please note Gary Kimmel collection in the message title. Also please be sure to include the ID number of items you are interested in. There is also a large quantity of HO track, Atlas Tru-Track, Tru-Scale track (on wood roadbed), and Kato track (straight sections only). I’ll answer any questions to the best of my ability, most likely in the evening. Thank you, Jeff Kimmel jtkimmel@...

Another Mantua General
3
I've been organizing and finding little gems such as this Mantua General. It is as clean as the ones prior I posted. It is DC, not DCC, with all the usual original parts. The cab, pilot driver wheels and stack are red. Tender is all black as is the boiler and frame. Asking $50.00. By the way, the boxed General is still available for $75.

Mantua Generals
I have two 4-4-0 Mantua Generals looking for a new home. One is in its Tyco box ($75.00), the other is not in a box ($50); the latter is painted a forest green tender and boiler which can be labeled for your line of choice as it has no decals. They are both in very clean shape however. If interested send me an email: thomradice@...

Thank you for starting this group. I am in HO and have a few early rail models, not sure what I will do with them as I get older I am transitioning into S scale. Glad to see another S scale modeler on here. Ian McKinley

Thanks for the great group idea. I'm not sure if there are any others, but I'm a "S scale" modeler, true 1:64th scale, not American Flyer. With the historic lack of "S scale" equipment, I'm always looking. Oh how I wish there was a good 4-4-0 American type that fit my Northern Pacific and Lake Superior & Mississippi RR modeling dreams. ~ Martin Johnson
