Another Mantua General

I've been organizing and finding little gems such as this Mantua General. It is as clean as the ones prior I posted. It is DC, not DCC, with all the usual original parts. The cab, pilot driver wheels and stack are red. Tender is all black as is the boiler and frame. Asking $50.00.??
By the way, the boxed General is still available for $75. |

Thom: I'm planning to restart my project to build Al/Gerry/John's 3-d Lt Gen Grant.? Unfortunately, my sticking point is the frame of the old Mantua General has a frozen gear box.? Unless there is a magic way to unfreeze it, I'm looking for just a loco frame with working gearbox.? Any chance you have one of those in your junk/reject/parts drawer??
