Gary Kimmel collection update

开云体育

Hello, I’ve added a file to my blog page with a list of my father’s train books. The first 9 on the list are ACW related train books while the rest are more general train books. I’ve also been adding items to the rolling stock lists (many Roundhouse passenger and freight cars, IHC freight cars, and a large box of Gorre & Daphetid cars) and the engine list (mainly a box of non-running Aristocraft engines).

?

I’ve been selling a lot of the collection on Ebay, my username is jtkimmel if anyone wants to see what I have up currently.

As always, if anyone would like to see photos of any items, please let me know.

?

?

Thank you,

Jeff Kimmel

?Hi Jeff -

I'm interested in several building kits, and have the latest spreadsheet. Do the blue highlights mean they are sold? Or something else?

Thanks......Ray

I wanted to follow up on my previous email about my father’s HO train collection, first to say thank you to those individuals who have purchased or are in the process of purchasing engines and cars.

The lists on my blog page have been updated and also added to as we keep finding more things. There are two additional lists, buildings (built and unbuilt, painted and unpainted) and figures (painted and unpainted). All are HO scale.

Again, if anyone would like photos of specific items, please let me know.

I have started listing items on Ebay (account name jtkimmel), any items put up there will be removed from my blog lists.

?

In talking with one member here I mentioned my father had customized a few USMRR Generals and he encouraged me to share photos of them here. They are items #163 “Scout, “ #166 General “134,” and #169 “Grapeshot.”

I also came across two small boxes of wagons, they are a mix of metal and plastic, at least one is a Jordan Highway Miniatures kit. I saw some emails a little while back about wagons so I thought I would post these here first.

?

Thank you,

Jeff K.

Hello Brian, I attached the list of non-runners.

?

I also added them to the engine list on my blog page and all the files have been updated for items sold. I can email photos of specific items for these or anything else on the lists.

Hello, I got a question about non-runners in my father’s collection. Is there a large interest for them? There’s around 20, about half are 4-4-0’s but a variety of others as well, that I can add to the engine list.

Ah, Aristo-Craft, I’d guess by the box art. What’s the material inside? Wood? Plastic? Cast metal?

Thanks much for the info, I was unaware of this line.

I’m not familiar with “Advance Molding Corp.” listed in the list of Gary’s holdings. Does anyone know anything about this manufacturer and their kits?

I have posted two Excel Spreadsheets on my blog page, one for the engines and one for the rolling stock. The spreadsheets list the item by locomotive or car type, manufacturer, road name, built or unbuilt kit, coupler type, color and the asking price. Shipping is additional. Payment by Paypal is preferred. I can email the files to anyone if they have problems downloading them.

If you are interested in anything please email me at jtkimmel@..., please note Gary Kimmel collection in the message title. Also please be sure to include the ID number of items you are interested in.
There is also a large quantity of HO track, Atlas Tru-Track, Tru-Scale track (on wood roadbed), and Kato track (straight sections only).
I’ll answer any questions to the best of my ability, most likely in the evening.
