Question for the group

Hello
? We recently came across a collection of Military Manuals for test equipment, earliest date is 1946, latest is the late 50's. About 10 original military manuals in all.
Various types: A couple of oscilloscopes, analog meters, etc... All are OEM military manuals in pretty good shape. Will make very fine copies..

? Question: We would like to make copies available to people who are looking for this sort of manual, Is there a IO group that specializes in these 40's and 50's military test equipment things ?

?We would copy the manuals and make them available for copy cost and media mail to the US Lower 48.

Thank You very much
Ashley

We would copy the manuals and make them available for copy cost and media mail to the US Lower 48.
I set up the following group in 2022, before basic groups lost file and picture
storage:

/g/Vintage-Amateur-Radio-Restoration

I don't remember if you need to belong to only read messages, but here's the
message list:

/g/Vintage-Amateur-Radio-Restoration/messages

I checked with a browser that isn't logged into GIO and can view messages.

Anyway, the group never really reached critical mass, but it has file storage.
It's possible, if you wanted to do this, that the group could store those
scanned documents and avoid the need for postage and printing. Of course, for
those without printers who require a print copy, that could always be an option.
Or, they could take the file to a Kinkos or other print place and have it
printed locally.

You would be welcome to be a co-owner if you wished.

There's one thing to know, though, and that is if the group doesn't become
active within a few years, I'd like to re-purpose the group for another amateur
radio subject. But I do have other basic groups with the full set of functions
before changes were made to basic groups that I would use before this group. I
think it will become useful within a couple more years, as has this EF Johnson
group that I had my doubts about.

The basic group can also have 3 subgroups, if I remember correctly. However, no
one would likely find a subgroup unless they were a member of the main group.
But the subgroups are also available for file storage if needed.

Don Hello
?? Thank You very very much for your information !! I do appreciate you taking the time
After talking with some people I think I will scan each document and upload it to Bama/Edebris..
? This will allow the most "bang for the buck", in terms of access...
Thank You !!
