Ok with the open mic issue noted, we need to look at Safety and comm's in case of a event. A E a place to stage ect. Also thinking about a couple of drills through out the year to keep us ready.

Just a thought for disscussion Best course of action is to have net control poll everyone who is checked in with the group. The one person that doesn’t answer will probably have the open mike. We can then get eyes on this individual and confirm where or not that is the case. If everyone answers the roll call then we can assume the hot mike is not from the event staff. Secondly it would probably be a good idea for net control to run a roll call about every hour just to check status of each individual and make sure that there still with us.( Example not overheated). if someone does not answer the roll call it would be very easy for someone to go to their Section and locate to make sure that they are ok and to find out if they are having radio issues. (Of course some of us are heard all the time but there are others that we very rarely hear from).
