Hey guys! I have Jim Ivy and Randy Williams signed up to fly with us on 12/8. Jo, I could not see where you'd registered in the system before, so I'll have to send you a link to get set up. Is there anyone else that would be willing to help on 12/8 in the morning? We plan to fly at least 50 kids, so we need some planes and pilots.?
Also, a quick reminder about our chapter meeting on Saturday at 9 AM at Gladewater (07F). Please make plans to attend if at all possible! Steve contacted me regarding a YE Rally for the Gilmer High School AF JROTC.? There are 50 cadets and they can be flown in two different rallies or fly all 50 in one rally.? The dates they are looking at is Saturday November 18 or Saturday December 9th.? Steve has offered to have several volunteers on hand and the use of his museum? hangar at the Gilmer Airport.? Through the years Steve has highly promoted aviation in the Gilmer schools offering aviation themed tour for all the Gilmer 5th graders culminating in the re-enaction of the Berlin candy drop and he offers an aviation career day at the Gilmer Airport for the AF JROTC cadets.
