I use a 1/4" belt on my x2 got rid of the plastic... much better
I haven't used the mill in a while but went out to rub it today, of course can't get the spindle to work, have a kbws controller, power lights all on, relays on but no motor...
This is going to be a real pain to trouble shoot.. and like you I'm in south Florida so you know how hot its getting...
