Thanks for setting this up Kevin. Your earlier work got me going on trying to find Britton’s ancestors using DNA, since we couldn’t find a paper trail. We believe his parents were John Daniel and Catherine Napier, but no proof yet. Thanks to FamilyTreeDNA, we learned that Britton is probably connected somehow to John Thomas Daniel (d1640), Edward Daniel (1760-1833), Nathaniel Daniel (1796-1864), William Jeremiah Daniel (1780-1850), James Daniel (1745-1821), but no idea how they connect. Britton is first found in Harlan County, Ky then Clay County, KY and finally in Madison County, KY. His name is sometimes spelled differently (Brittain, Britten, etc.). Any suggestions or corrections are appreciated.?

Also
Jeremiah "Jerome" "Jerry" Daniel b. ca. 1794 Washington County, Tennessee d. June 2, 1880 Newton Co., Arkansas.? He married Susannah "Susan" Self in Illinois.

Both men are sons of Bazel/Basil/Bazzel et. al., Daniel who was b ca.1775 N.C. d. ca. 1843 Carroll County, AR

Now through Family Tree Family Finder I also somehow connect to William Jeremiah Daniel b. ca. 1782 in Buncombe Co., N.C. d. ca. 1850 in Union Co., GA who married Sarah Self (is she an ancestor of Susannah "Susan" Self?) possibly in Georgia.

My connection is proven through DNA to Job (keith Ash) and Francis (Hala Mae Jane Daniel) Daniel, sons of William Jeremiah and Sarah Self

I also share DNA with Dan Rogers.??

His ancestors were Thomas Daniel b.ca. 1795 Tennessee d. ca. 1850 Williamson County, Illinois.? Thomas married Nancy Hardige.

I have not been able to connect all these Daniel men with one another.
