On Family Tree DNA I have one person who is always at the top of my match lists, James Daniels. We both have taken the Big-Y 700 marker test, and we have the same exact haplogroup, and in fact we are the only two known members in this haplogroup. I've tried to reach out by email for years, but I've never heard back. On his profile, he claims to have descended from Robert DeAnyers, 1172, and claims to be associated with the surname "Daniell" from Warwick County Virginia. My Y-DNA is Is M-269, part of R1B1.?
I have three questions
1) Has anyone made contact with this James Daniels before? If so, can you speak to any connection with Brittain/Britton Daniel b1814?
2) Do you know anything about the Y-DNA of the "Daniell" s from Warwick County Virginia? Are these Daniels M-269 / R1B1?
3) How would James Daniels be related to Robert DeAnyers 1172? Are his male descendents?M-269 / R1B1?
