That would be fine, Vickie. She is his heir, so the results belong to her, though if Joe named a beneficiary in the project, they could also release the results. Since his data has been removed from the project, however, I do not have any way to tell if Joe appointed a beneficiary.
This brings up the importance, once again, of appointing a beneficiary for kits that you manage. I have appointed one for mine....
