I?spent some time looking at the above census record and found the following:
Jeremiah Danube (sic) whose household was:
2 males under 10
3 males between 10 - 16
1 male over 45
1 female between 10 - 16
1 female 26 to 45
Barsel Danude (sic) (Basel/Bazel)
1 male under 10
1 male 16 - 25
1 female 16 - 25
William Smith? over 45 could he be an in-law?????
William Daniel
1 male 16 - 25
1 female under 10
1 female 16 - 25
The neighbors to the above were the following SELF families:? Spencer, John, Levi, Francis and Ryley (Riley)
I believe that William Daniel is the same William P Daniel who won a grant in the 1805 Georgia Land Lottery.? Hence my connection to the Georgia Daniel line.
In addition these Daniel persons were also granted land in Georgia:? Aaron, Isaac, James K, Julius, Mathew/Matthew, Prescilla (a widow?),Thomas, Wiley (is this Ryley of the 1800 census record?)??
Daniel men NOT granted land were: John and Nathan?
Does anyone have connection to the above persons?
