Hello Liz,

I have the line of Stephen as Elijah 1748, Simon 1716, Simon 1678, Joseph 1657, Simon 1625. No documents, no proof. Stephens wife was Hulda Smock who had a good write-up in "The Primitive Baptist", June 12, 1858, p 173-4

Also Robert L's line as Thomas 1675 Barbados, John 1645 England (m Ann Jones), Roger V 1619 (m Avis Bell), Roger IV 1595. If this is accurate, men descended from this line should test DNA positive for SNP A11115. This is my family group.

These two lines are, so far as I can tell, completely unrelated.

Jack

Are any of you researching John Henry Daniel, Sr. (1801-1873) of Greene and Edgecombe Counties in NC?? He was a Primitive Baptist Elder and his ancestors were Stephen Parker Daniel (1774-1840), Joseph Daniel (1730-1800), Simon Daniel (1678-1763), Hugh Daniel (d. 1700), and Thomas Daniel.

I have another Daniel line from Pitt County:? Captain Robert Lanier Daniel (1718-1794) who was born in Chowan Precinct in NC and died in Pitt County, and his ancestors were Thomas Daniel, Sr. (1686-1749) who was born in Barbados, married Elizabeth Jean Lanier from Prince George County, VA, and they both died in Tyrrell County, NC.

Any information will be appreciated.
