All nine units came from ALCO with the "horns" or eyebrows. When the units were rebuilt at Hornell 451 thru 456 had the eyebrows cut back flush with the carbody end. It remains a mystery as to why 461

There's a good chance D&H accepted delivery at Hornell since they ran through there. I've seen images of D&H power fueling at the Hornell racks in the late 70s. Jim ________________________________

Hi All! If you look at the "B" ends of 461 and 462, they have the "horns" at the rear of the radiators. So the Life-Like C-424 are very close to the C-424ms $61-463. I never thought I would say this,
