May is National Foster Care Awareness Month, and the incredible nonprofit we¡¯re spotlighting today helps young people set themselves up for success when they transition out of the foster care system. A Sense of Home transforms empty dwellings into cozy, fully furnished homes using donated furniture. ¡°A space does not function like a home unless it has all of the equipment within it that makes a space a home,¡± founder Georgie Smith tells Nice News, adding: ¡°The furniture and home goods are really the tool kit for one being able to manage and organize their life.¡± Watch recipients see their new spaces for the first time and learn how to get involved from afar by creating ¡°welcome home¡± kits.
