All,If anyone is looking for short (<24") x 1" wide leather flat belts, I have a friend who makes the belts for my Type 4. I don't see why a couple couldn't be joined together for longer lengths.

To use the back gears there is a pin behind the chuck that locks the drive belt assembly to the front gear. Pull this pin out then you can use the back gears that¡¯s identical system to mine.

No you don't. I am cheap and lazy. So I went to my local auto repair shop
and asked for an old timing belt. I cut it to length and spliced it back

I use an automotive serpentine flat belt. 6rib maybe?? Can¡¯t remember the name of the belt series, but they work perfectly.

Getting the dalton figured out and all.? GE motor will need a new capacitor bit that is for another time.? Will need to repaint this baby eventually, rustoleum enamel works well for me on GE fan
