Hi Trey

I did look at info I had in my computer here at my coastal home but have a lot more in the one back home. ? I have quite a bit of Dalton literature and I’m sure there is a picture of there milling attachment. ?Will look when I get back home next week.?

One thing I do have is an original copy of the booklet covering the Lot six lathe. Years ago I scanned it into my computer. Ha need to go find it have not looked at that file in some years. ?The other Dalton info I have are all simple sales information. You guys have no idea of all the literature I have collected in the last 40 years. Not Dalton but I have nearly all South Bend lathe catalogs from the first on up to I think 1960. Also Atlas and many others. ?Probably should ship all my collection to Tony Grifith at Lathed UK.?
As to the nut on your cross slide SB used the same kind of a nut though not all dimensions were the same. The tool I made works on both of them there that much alike.?

Back on topic.

After some heat and persuasion with a punch and dead blow, that cross slide nut finally gave up and came out. ?I’ll have to make another one to put it back together.

Hey Dennis, did you ever get a chance to see if Dalton ever produced a milling attachment for their lathes? ?Also, let me know if you would be willing to sell a copy of your Dalton literature. ?

Thanks to everyone and I’ll post some more pics this weekend.
