Your lathe is? a Dalton.? If you measure the swing it should be 10 or 10 1/2 inches. This is only the third one of this model we have seen.? You may not find a serial number on it as the other two we know of do? not have a seral number.? We think this lathe was being developed just? before the company failed in the stock market crash of 1929.? After the crash and the closing of the company many things at the factory would have been sold off to satisfy creditors or people and companies that Dalton owned money to. We think your lathe as well as the other two were some of the items sold off at the end.? ?We know very little about your lathe other than it is a Dalton built machine.
