I¡¯ve had good luck with Boeshield T-9, though I¡¯ve not mothballed anything for nearly as long as you plan to.

I have been using my Dalton with the taper attachment for the last 16 years to make tapered Ferrules for the fifes I make.? I need room in the garage so I made enough taper ferrules to last me at least 5 to 8 years using up all but 6ft of my custom thick walled Nickle Silver tubing I had purchased.? I plan to move the Dalton to the shed.? What would be the best way to store?? I was thinking of cleaning it up, applying a light coat of WD40 and crating it up.
