Sorry i didnt know you guys were gonna respond!!! Yes im doing the gingery machines ( little bigger dimensions on a few parts) just for the adventure and the skills/knowledge to be gained..? But i ended up getting a southbend 9a, and a cnc ready (manual for now) Taig mill with upgraded headstock bearings and 5c collet...

? Yeah, you really want to? have a Dalton that needs some parts, or just want to do some restoration experiments with these parts. That is to say, these really aren't first timer machines.? Good luck with your castings though, ? manual machining is a great rabbit hole to go down.?
