I've only just joined this group having bought a lot 2 lathe through eBay UK about 18 months ago.? Messages 122 and 123 refer to it.? I've got it set up and running, but I'm not happy with the bench I built for it, and when I find time (in between family, work and playing with 2ft gauge steam locos) I intend to construct some new benching for it to sit on.? Getting it working well is a longer term project really, as I've no immediate use for it - rather its a "nice to have."? Any machining requirements I have at present I can do at work - I teach Design & Technology in a high school.

The guy I bought it from had owned for some years and replaced with a Myford ML7 a friend had sold him.

As mentioned previously, the lathe has been modified at some time, and probably suffered some damage.? When I get round to it I'll post some photos for analysis and comment.
