How good to hear from you and better yet, that
you'll be at our reuion!? It's been a very long time since our paths have
crossed.? There will be much to catch up on - if that'ws ever
possible.

Today, the church that Dave has been pastoring for
the past 18 years, held a reitrement dinner in his honor.? What a nice time
we had.? One of the boys Dave had baptized and confirmed has gone on to
chef's school in Chicago, been to Quincy IL to work for several years.? In
the last year, a local restuarant asked him to be their chef, he accepted and
has employed his 2 brothers to help out.? The point being - he catered the
meal for about 100 people today.? And the menu he chose - rice and chicken
curry!? All in honor of Dave who loves rice and curry.? It was very
mild in flavor but they handed us a bottle of hot, spicy curry sauce (Chinese
actually).? I assume most of your meals are ethnic with little American
menus eve3n considered.? There's probably a McDonalds or Pizza Hut close by
- which you've seen more recently.? When we went back to India in 2004, we
were surprised to see a Domino's pizza being delivered by motocyle up in the
hills where we taught school.? Down on the plains - like Delhi and Bombay,
I'm sure you can find fast food chains too.

Hi gang
Last week we bought our tickets to fly from Brazil to Cleveland
in May.
We will rent a car and visit Otis' siblings in Indiana and PA, but
headquarter with my Mom at OrrVilla. Otis will not be able to stay for
the reunion and will return to Brazil May 26, but I will return June 1
(the day after!) We are following all the campaign news and views,
Ike's destruction, etc. I look forward to seeing each one and have
enjoyed the site entries.
