Now that I think about we had two places in Kidron that we used to go ice skating.? It was the CB Orr place that most kids went to skate on.??I had not thought about that place for a long time. The part of the farm that the pond was located?is now a private dwelling.? CB I knew him well, he used to go hunting and fishing with my dad.

I remember the ice skating pond in Kidron and I know Bob Romey although don?t think I knew him in high school but later on.? I don?t remember it being his pond but then my memory?s not what it used to be.? Why do I think it was a name like C. B. Orr????

You?d think that I owned a piece of Cracker Barrel but they still have Charles Chips.? I stop at them at lot while traveling as you can always count on their food.

We always had the Watkins man stop and to this day, I still use Watkins Double Strength Vanilla when I bake.? We had milk from Smith Dairy and bread from the Nickels Bakery delivered.
