ya know i am still sitting here waiting for someone to help me out with their memories of the grade school cafeteria... ...where is my support system? talking about times new roman font? i know that we were in the old 2 story grade school building and that the first grade was divided between mrs haney and mrs yeaman. then the 2nd grade was mrs mumaw and the 3rd was mrs himes ? and then the 4th mrs edwards and the 5th mr dody and 6th was mr gift. the building was old old and old with creaky wooden floors and a basement where the restrooms were. i remember at recess we would try to drag the boys into the girls basement just for fun......... ..i also remember doing acrobatics on the floor in the girls basement. i think that nancy W was one of the ones that could do flips in the air? and i am sure connie and karen as i thought they could DO most anything. I remember that we did the first three grades
downstairs and then the 4th grade upstairs and then the new school must of opened with the first 4 grades because we then moved back downstairs to do the 5th and 6th grade. then the 2nd grade classroom became the cafeteria (in my mind anyhow.) i remember working in the steamy hot dish room washing those trays. any other recollections out there? dont make me think by myself so much...... it HURTS my head!
