Just when I thought there were no more things to worry about, a bird has been attacking my outside car mirrors.
This bird is in love with my car mirror. Daily he pecks away and stares at herself in the mirror. A side effect is the proverbial bird excrement she leaves behind.
I finally solved the problem by putting Wal Mart bags over the mirrors secured by a high tech rubber band.
This has at least slowed down the bird attacks.
The only downside is I must remember to take off the Wal Mart bags before I drive the car.
I have not seen this activity before this year. Do you suppose this is an omen of some kind?
Perchance Albert Hitchcock is behind this plot. Remember his movie "The Birds" with Tippi Hedren?
Speaking of Albert Hitchcock, I am now obsessed with watching black and white reruns of his Alfred Hitchcock Hour each weekday night from 10:00 to 10:50 pm on Directv
Channel 539 Encore Suspense. Classic Hitchcock stuff without commercials. I ask myself why I watch this when all of the shows have stupid endings. Maybe that is the answer: they all have stupid endings. Classics indeed. This begs the question why do I have an HDTV and then watch black and white Hitchcock shows. The answer is that there is nothing better to watch on the tv wasteland (especially network tv crapola).
Anyways, I digress.
Back to the birds dilemma, I thought I would pass along my solution to the birds in the mirror problem to others.
Anyone else have a similar problem with birds?
Or maybe the birds are trying to drive me mad.
So far, they are ahead of me.
So spring is finally here. We have bluebonnets galore this year in our yard. After a reprieve from the recent 2 year drought, there is an abundance of wild flowers this year.
