Re how are you.......so funny and one conversation i have had lately. like, does how are you just attach to hello or hi.......does that person really care?? I think NOT.?? I try not to use the cliche as it annoys me when others do but i am sure that most people dont even think about it.? if we really cared how that other person is it would be amazing ..........most people cant seem to get their snoots out of their iphones etc.......we live in a generation of brain dead detached individuals.

I saw this on a t-shirt at Luckenbach, Tx a couple of days ago.

Not that I am an Elvis fan--just thought it was clever.

I don't necessarily believe that Elvis is still alive, although it
seems plausible.

Or perhaps the meaning is that the end is near and the person
wearing the t-shirt is on his own farewell tour to join Elvis
in the afterlife.

Just give the elderly guy wearing it a break. The elderly guy
was probably actually younger than me. Elderly is a fleeting
definition to me.

Also the guy in the t-shirt was accompanied by a lady wearing
a dress made from flowered drapes (or so it appeared to me).

Perchance she was the archangel who travels with Elvis.

It only seems poetic that Elvis may be pondering a future performance
at the Luckenbach Dancehall.

Maybe he can sing a song along with Waylon Jennings who sang
the Luckenbach, Texas song along with Willie Nelson and the boys.

Let's go to Luckenbach, Texas for the next class gathering.

Who knows what we will see?

As an aside, here is a great answer to the next person who asks
a question to you.

Just say "Why do you ask?" and watch the dumbfounded look on
the questioner's face.

This answer works well with the mundane trite question "How are
you?"

Nobody actually wants to know how you are doing. It is just
idle conversation.

So how are you all doing?
