Yes, Spring does have flexible starting dates, but I guess the key to remembering Jeff's birthday is that the "traditional" starting date for Spring is March 21st and that is when his birthday is.

Doesn't Spring have flexible dates like something between March
20 to 22? This year it is on March 20 but Jeff's birthday is
on March 21. So how do you remember March 21?
