My Dad drove the Corvair he bought down to Texas and gave to me.?? It was a white 1963.?? When I was married to Brian, we had it running and it was a lot of fun, then it just sat in my garage for several years and I finally sold it for $700 - to the perfect guy.?? He was the type that could fix it up and they practically just told me over the phone that he would take it sight unseen.?? He had his own flatbed truck and came and got it and hope he fixed it up and was happily ever after.?? I was relieved as it isn't good for them just to sit, and I could use the money.

Happy 4th of July to everybody ahead of time!?? Having such a busy June calendar (but happy about that) and getting ready to leave on 6/27 for a cruise with my daughter, Val out of Tampa.??I have 6 more performances and then I can go.?? ??Believe me, by then I will be ready for a vacation.

I saw a beautiful Corvair over at the park today where I take my daily walk.?????? I asked the owner what year it was and she replied, "1964".?????? It was still the original color......teal blue, and she was the original owner.???? She told me that she doesn't drive it very far, just around town.???????? I hadn't realized that the gas cap is on the driver's front fender.?????? Does that mean the gas tank is up under the hood?????
