Hi Everyone, So I have been looking into this as well and it appears the Ham Mode changes the operating frequency to UHF mhz range and will not pass any of the 915+mhz traffic at all. At least from what I've read so far. ?Benefits of the ham mode seems to get you more power/distance than the standard mode, but you loose encryption. I'm also thinking you will also have a different antenna since you will be on UHF range and the 915+mhz probably will not run on same antenna? At least none I could find to purchase that had dual bands with those frequencies on any of the sites that sell these devices. If you find anything out different please correct me - I'm very new at this as well. As a side note, some of the threads I read on this seemed to focus on areas that had a lot of traffic and it was "quieter" to switch over to the ham band mode as it has fewer people in high use areas. Hope this helps, and if anyone finds out more on this let me know. ?I'm just getting my feet wet with his as well. ?I just got my first LilyGo TTGo Lora32 and planning on getting my first device working. Thanks for sharing your projects! ?It's been a great help. 73, James N5TXN
