Re: Day 4: The Blue Moss Village

This monster was NOT getting away! It had already hurt far too many people, and now it just gave Sweet William a nasty gash! The Manticore probably thought it had an easy target at the little village and so far it was just the three of them. Soon Sir Beslen?would be at it with his sword,? Anrah would be upon the monster with her mighty claws at its throat, and there would be soon druidic magic and the half-elf's arrows. Not to mention the other orcs in the village.
?
The cat moved back into a flanking position (if she was still not in after her target moved ) and repeated her attack. She will once again use?the ¡®Way Of The Open Hand¡¯ and strike it with her Flurry Of Blows.*
?
Once he was finished healing the orc, Ashley drew her crossbow as he left the building. Surely the others would be upon it by now. He will attack the creature with the crossbow. He noticed the half-orc had already received a rather nasty wound from the beast, but gads! The Manticore looked far worse! He also wondered where the others were at.
?
?
Tabby
?
*Open Hand Technique ? PHB 79?
Whenever you hit with one of your Flurry of Blows attacks, you can impose one of the following effects on that target: fall prone if it fails a DEX saving throw (DC 12)
?
* Flurry of blows +7 to hit. 1d4+ 5/1d4+ 5
?
Ashley Light Crossbow
?
+3 To Hit. 1d8+1 Piercing Damage.

North does not want this creature to get away again.

(OOC3/ I never rolled damage for Acid Arrow, 4D4 Immediate acid damage, and 2D4 acid damage at the end of it's next turn. Rolled a 1, 2, 3, and 4 = 10 damage plus 3 and 1 = 4 damage at the end of it's next turn.

Esther,

I really think you¡¯re making too big a deal of this. It¡¯s not real. It¡¯s make-believe. It¡¯s a game. These are made up characters, not real people. They can¡¯t really die. If I kill off a character named Raina or Anrah, that just means the character is dead in my universe. You can still play the character in any other universe you want. It¡¯s game. If I kill them, you just say it didn¡¯t happen and it didn¡¯t happen to your character in whatever world you play. My character ¡°Deacon¡± has died countless times. I just say someone resurrected him, or it never happened, or it was a different timeline or different universe or a dream or whatever. I don¡¯t care what anyone else thinks. My character gets to continue to play somewhere because I want to keep playing him. It¡¯s game. It¡¯s suppressed to be fun, not stressful.

It¡¯s just pretend. Let it go.

?
There was no time to waste! Tabby needed to prove to the group that she was not just an adorable little, helpless kitty! She was a warrior! The little feline quickly made her way towards the beast! Sweet (And now Very Brave) William would not fight alone! She will move over to the Manticore and flank it! She will use the ¡®Way Of The Open Hand¡¯ and strike it with her Flurry Of Blows.*
?
Hopefully, the others would be at their side soon to lend a hand!
?
Once Ashley had placed the wounded orc to safety, were there any other injured to help? If there is only one injured orc, he will use cure wounds. If there are multiple injuries, he will use 'Channel Divinity: Preserve Life' on the orcs. They will need to be close for this to work properly. Once the injured are taken care of, he will head out to help the others fight the manticore.
?

?
*Open Hand Technique ? PHB 79
Whenever you hit with one of your Flurry of Blows attacks, you can impose one of the following effects on that target: fall prone if it fails a DEX saving throw (DC 12)
?
* Flurry of blows +7 to hit. 1d4+ 5/1d4+ 5

Re: DM/ OOC- re: moving forward in the campaign

I did post....Ashley needs the wounded together...Hopefully, they can move them into the longhouse so he could use his 'Channel Divinity' ability.

Also, Tabby was waiting for everyone to wake up before she sought out the beast as seriously. Manitores have...Two claw attacks...A bite attack and that tail? She wouldn't last two seconds against that. Thankfully she has her crossbow, which I always seem to forget she has. ?
