North gets up to find the food. He's excited because all of these smells equate to one thing in his mind; breakfast!
He imagines spreading warming the biscuits over the fire then spreading the butter on and then the jam over the butter so that they emulsify with each other.
And then he imagines stacking the meats and then the eggs and then sandwiching it all together.
And the best parts, he thinks, is everyone else is asleep! He can eat it all to himself!
He looks around for the breakfast ingredients as he gets up from his slumber.

As Sweet William drifts off to sleep, he can hear a voice getting louder and louder, and then he is out.
North wakes up to the smell of food, and realizes he has no clue when he ate last. He smells fresh biscuits, honeyed butter, a fruit jam of some kind, and eggs and meat
cooking ... he can hear that the rest of his friends are snoring
