Re: December 22 in RR History

December 22, 1959 A light snow storm in suburban Philadelphia forced the Red Arrow to return 5 center-door cars and Queen Mary 26 (ex-PTC 4024) to return to regular service on all 3 branches. Also, heavy ridership during the Christmas shopping period forced PTC to return some of the 20 original PCC cars to service on route 53 (Wayne Avenue).? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Dennis M Linsky
