February 13, 1973 After a freight train derailment at Ludlow blocked all 4 tracks on the Penn Central Railroad's Hudson Division, all trains were terminated at Yonkers with shuttle buses running from there to the 242nd Street IRT terminal. Amtrak trains were terminated at Croton-Harmon with shuttle buses running from there to Grand Central.
