January 27, 1957 Philadelphia PCC cars on the 7 routes operating from Luzerne Depot (routes 6, 20, 47, 50, 53, 56, and 60) received lock-type fare boxes. Only the Woodland PCC cars still needed to receive them, but not until route 46 goes bus. Also, bus route 59b on Bustleton Avenue was re-euipped with 3800-series GMC TDH-5105 diesel buses and the remodeled 8000s at Southern Depot were being repainted for continuous service on the Market Street 17 and 32 routes.? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
