October 3, 1954 Kansas City PCC route 53 (Swope Park) was cut back from the park to the car barn at 48th and Troost and redesignated as Rockhill and trolleybus route 45 (Northeast-Indiana) was cut back from Swope Park to 39th and Bales. Both were replaced by the new Linwood-Swope Park bus route.? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? October 3, 1957 The West Philadelphia portion of former PCC route 42 became impassable.
