Some good news. ?Removed the woofer last night and found the voice coil slightly rubbing. ?On closer inspection I discovered that the glue holding the surround had let go in several places. ?Should be an easy fix. ?It’s interesting that whomever previously replaced the surrounds did so with the concave side of the surrounds facing outside facing toward the listener. ?I don’t think it matters, but found it odd. ?Thank you everyone for all your suggestions.
