I've had DQ-20i and DQ-20, I let the former get away and found the latter for a deal. I don't know why but the 20 seems to have a better (fuller?) midrange.
Same here. Had two sets of the 10, a 20, and a 20i
Still have one set of the 10 and the 20.
Interesting other comment about ALON/NOLA, because original Dahlquist factory was also on Long Island (Hauppauge)

I can't speak for the Alon's, although I understand they are very good. I did however own a pair of DQ20i, and a pair of DQ20. I sold the 20i's and kept the 20's. The 20's got it right, in my opinion.
