I have an extras original yellow cap xo in storage. As I recall I paid 250$ for them. For a while I collected woofer, mids, tweeters in panels and separates. I’ve yet to replace any drivers in my two sets of dq 10’s in 25 yrs. I’m using Mac 500wpc amps so they get clean sound.?
Years ago when Carver came out with 300 wpc amps at low prices I inquired from Soul Marantz and Rudy Bozak about them . Simply stated empty calories! Carver yield stated wpc at 1 kHz for less then a second . They went and got one from back room and hooked it up.? Showed me what happened at 500 hz, 5000hz, 10,000 hz, 20,000hz. On a scope and distortion meters. I walked out with them for lunch astonished. I learned a lot that afternoon about how amps are rated. Much of the stats are smoked snake oil. Many amps do not provide the specs they state but for a very short time and limited Freqs.?

Hi all. While I'm brand new to this forum I've owned my DQ-10s for around 40+ years. My current set up is with the DQ-10s, a pair of DQ-1Ws and a DQ-LP1 powered by Carver amps at 500 watts a side. The combination of clarity, definition, sound stage and pulse altering bass is so fun. BTW, if you get a chance listen to Ratchets by Hedegaard as a speaker test. Breathtaking.
I've been using a variety of source mediums from vinyl to CDs and now through high end streaming which is surprisingly getting decent.
Ok, enough about that. I've decided to do another tune up of the system. About 15 years ago I made new crossovers and have also replaced the woofers and tweeters. I'm not thinking of doing another refresh by having the LP1 tuned up and as well getting fresh crossovers and sending them to Regnar for the work. They don't have any crossovers so I'd have to find a set of stock ones to send them. So a couple of questions...
Does anyone know of where I could get two original DQ-10 crossovers?
Has anyone had work done by Regnar and were you happy with the service/results/cost?
?
Thanks so much.
