I noticed on the page /g/DahlquistSpeakers/wiki/23822/158757 dedicated to the Advent woofer used in the DQ-10 (the one with the masonite ring) that the subsequent model used in the New Advent Loudspeaker (the one with full metal basket) and used as a replacement in the DQ-10 is declared to have the same parameters as the original woofer. This seems true to me with regards to the parameters reported on the aforementioned page, but not for another parameter which concerns the position of the cone with respect to the panel on which the transducer is mounted. In fact, I understand that to have the cone in the same relative position (with respect to the panel) as that of the original woofer it is necessary to advance the new woofer using a ring (I don't know if this is compatible with the position of the covering cloth of the front panel of the DQ -10). In a project like that of the DQ-10 which gives importance to the alignment of the emission centers of the transducers, I believe that this aspect must be carefully considered. What I am saying is already confirmed by the photos of the two versions contained in the aforementioned page (in particular you can see how the cone of the full metal basket woofer is significantly set back compared to the panel on which it is mounted). If you want, I can also look for some photos I took, precisely to highlight this aspect, of the woofers of my two pairs of DQ-10s (one pair has the original woofers, the other has the full metal basket woofers).
