Dave - what you describe here is exactly my system ( 2 10's,? 2 DQ 1W's one their sides puts the 10's at a great listening level, and an LP1). I'm using two Hafler DH500's to power the 10's, and an Adcom 555 (the orignal Nelson Pass design, not later versions) for the subs. Why these amps? They were cheap and are good. Plain and simple. I don't require more.?
