Good Morning! Glad to see activity from group members!?
On a sad note, we lost our Callie on September 5. It¡¯s been very hard on Oscar and I. She had Cushings for 7 years, then she had thyroid issues. She had a well checkup on Tuesday, played all week with us, then she stopped eating over the weekend, was diagnosed with pancreatitis and was gone on Thursday. Our house has been very quiet. Oscar and I have been crying a lot.?
My husband, Danny, told me to find us a new dachshund. I have learned a lot about finding a dachshund, good and bad. Callie helped us find Scarlett. She been with us a week. Oscar and I have been much happier and the house has barking again! Scarlett is a brown, black, red dapple with one half blue eye and a little white on her chest. (She¡¯s not a double dapple.) She¡¯s 1 1/2 years old, 12 pounds. She came from Henry County Humane Society in Georgia as a stray.?
Oscar is having his dental today, which makes me worry.?
It¡¯s cold in Atlanta this morning. Scarlett and I are hiking Kennesaw Mountain this morning with our Meetup group.?
More later!
